We were especially delighted when one visitor called tink the meeting place for trans people in Northern Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friday kicked off with an exciting opening program. On Saturday, there was much to watch and it suddenly got so full that we unfortunately had to turn some of you away! On Sunday, we relaxed with coffee and cake before and after the film. We had plenty of conversations with visitors and filmmakers not just in the evenings at the bar, but also during the day. And yes, with a self-organized festival, there can sometimes be minor technical hurdles\u2014but that\u2019s all part of it and adds to the charm ;o)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A huge thank you to everyone who made the festival possible: to the many helpers, without whom tink wouldn\u2019t have been possible; to the filmmakers for the enriching conversations and their films; and, of course, to everyone who was there\u2014you were a great audience! A special thank you also goes to our cooperation partners: HIQFF, lost &amp; found, Queertreff Ottensen, Queertreff Wilhelmsburg, B-You, film speed e.V., and Centro Sociale\u2014your support and For three days, we will be screening films that focus on trans, Inter, non-binary, and agender perspectives\u2014documentary, biographical, artistic, and political\u2014and especially films that have largely emerged from the communities themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The films tell stories of joyful, empowering, and supportive communities\u2014often under particularly challenging circumstances, whether on a small scale or within a larger community context. They show how connections are formed: from the need to meet people in similar situations, through chance, or through acts of solidarity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For some films, we have invited guests to participate in a discussion about the film or its background.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top has-custom-e-2-d-7-ee-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-style:none;border-width:0px;border-radius:2px;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0;flex-basis:49%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">tink is more than cinema: there is plenty of space for networking, exchange, and relaxed evenings at the bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, May 17th, the festival will take place in cooperation with lost &amp; found exclusively for Inter-, trans-, detrans-, non-binary, and genderqueer people as well as their close companions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our goal is to create an empowering space for our communities\u2014especially in times of rising global anti-queer and anti-trans hostility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets are donation-based to make access available to as many people as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The venue is barrier reduced (completely at ground level) and equipped with a wheelchair-accessible restroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By us.
